The new comfort of night train travel
The seven-car Nightjets of the new generation each consist of two seating cars (control car & multifunctional car), three couchette cars and two sleeping cars. The maximum capacity per set is 254 seats. The design combines ultra-modern design with even more comfort and space.
Travelling in the sleeping cars is even more comfortable, as all compartments have their own toilet and shower facilities. Fixed beds additionally increase sleeping comfort and ensure a relaxed arrival at the destination. The sleeping compartments offer comfortable seating area for e.g. relaxed working, reading or eating during the journey. Due to the lower occupancy (2-person compartment in the sleeping car ÖBB can meet the customers' request for increased privacy.
In the new innovative Mini Cabins, the single sleeping berths in the couchette car, every necessity for an undisturbed night trip is available in a compact space: a storage area, a movable folding table for breakfast with integrated mirror, coat hooks, reading lamp as well as directly adjacent lockers for hand luggage and shoes.
